JTCR's Signature Event is Just Around the Corner
Since there is so much going on related to the club over the next six week, the calendar is taking front and center:
February 4th: John TenBroeck Memorial Winter Beach Run - 1PM at Jacksonville Beach at the Seawalk Pavilion. Info
February 10 and 11: Once again we have our tent at the 26.2 with Donna Marathon Expo. We have at least one JTCR Board member there at all times, we'd love to have some club members come out and talk with potential new members. Contact Carol Fitzsimmons for times we could use the most help, or just come by and hang with us!!! Alternative contact info
March 8 and 9: JTCR tent in the Gate River Run Expo - We always welcome Club members to help brag on us, represent the club is a good light, and help recruit new members.
March 10th: USA National Championship Gate River Run - Run it or help run it!! This is our club's showcase event and quite possibly Jacksonville's as well. Okay maybe that Superbowl thing a few years ago was more of a showcase, but GRR has been run for the last 34 years and has continued to grow steadily with participants from every state and numerous countries. Also staged that day is the Florida Times Union's popular 5K Run/Walk for Charity and the adidas Jr. River Run.

Bolles Wednesday Intervals Information
All Club members are welcome at The Bolles School Track for early morning and late afternoon interval workouts on Wednesdays. With this negotiated agreement there are requirements that you, as a JTCRunning member, must follow. If you don't know, CLICK HERE to read up BEFORE you show up.
Current Black Out Dates (which means don't show up and argue with Bolles' Security):

Awards Banquet Happenings
The 2011 JTCRunning Awards Banquet tried a new venue this year - it featured a fancier ambiance and traded buffets for family style servings. Maggiano's Little Italy
in the St. Johns Town Center was the setting; it was held Wednesday, June
15, 2011. Seventeen awards were presented by various folk, and "Not
Going Over-Time on My Watch" Doug Tillett was emcee. The show was a
wrap by 8:59 - the food portion took a bit longer because of the three
courses, but it was worth the extra time. From all the chatter and
milling about that went on until well after 9 P.M., it seems everyone
enjoyed the evening. see the Winners
