The meet began at 4:10 p.m. with a temperature of about 85º. Twenty-six athletes and 26 official participated. The athletes ranges in age from 34 to 78 with a median age of 48. The largest single-age groups were the 39 and 45 year olds with three athletes of each age. Six athletes exceeded the U. S. Masters Standard of excellence with one exceeding three standards and two more exceeding two standards. The generous provision of products by Gatorade and Powerade was appreciated. The Meet ended at 8:20 p.m.
