The meet began at 4:10 p.m.
with a temperature of about 70°
F. A light rain fell during most of the meet which caused cancellation of the
pole vault. Nine athletes exceeded the U.S. Masters Standards of Excellence.
Thirty-nine athletes and 26 officials participated. The participants’
ages ranged from 30 to 76 with a median of 46.
The largest single age groups were the 41- and 46-year olds with 4 in
each group. Jessica Bidlack, Dr.
Iselborn’s Assistant, was on hand for medical assistance.
The sport drink provided by Gatorade was greatly appreciated.
The meet ended at 8:25 p.m.
