Hello Friends!
I have written and rewritten this letter so many times and I still can’t seem to find adequate words to thank all of you who participated in our inaugural 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer.
I have literally received thousands of emails since the race. As I have since day one I am doing my best to answer every one. Your encouragement has been amazing and I know you will agree it was returned to you ten fold by the crowds who lined the race route in Jacksonville and our beautiful beach communities. I’m not sure it is possible to feel a greater since of pride in our mission and our event than I do today.
I hope you will take the time to read some of the feedback we received on the race. We’ve attached a number of excerpts and you will see a common theme. I think we all made a lot of new friends. We also took the first critical steps of our personal journey to FINISH BREAST CANCER.
I am certain I have never been more satisfied to cross the finish line of any marathon than I was to cross it with you.
