Short Notes from Gary Ledman
Gary was supposed to be our embedded reporter traveling with the team to give insightful and in-depth reporting on your JTCRunning Cross Country team and their performances. Unfortunately, he was usurped by a suitcase. Perhaps, if we do this again, we should include a roof-rack (for the luggage). Below is his brief race summary and the pre-departure note. Kentucky Results
JTC Running CC Team has a Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The JTCRunning women's team finished 20th in
the USA Track & Field national club cross-country championships
Saturday afternoon. Lindsay Sundell was the first finisher for JTC
Running (the Jacksonville Track Club), completing the 6-kilometer
course in 21 minutes, 47 seconds, 34th overall.
Other JTC Running finishers were: Angela Tecco (22:35); J.C.
Pinto (23:08); Courtney Phillips (24:22); Jo Shott (25:17); Britta
Fortson (26:21); and Kim Scurti (27:32).
The men's open team finished 28th in the 10-kilometer race, led
by Nathan Holden (32:54) in 134th place. Other finishers: Owen Shott
(33:35); Josh Myers (34:19); Todd Neville (34:30); Paul McRae (34:56);
and Tripp Southerland (33:12).
Boulder Running Co. of Colorado (women) and ZAP Fitness of North
Carolina (men) were the club champions. Results

Off to Kentucky!!
JTC Running CC Team set to leave Thursday Morning

Thirteen athletes will be representing JTCRunning in the USA
Track & Field club cross-country championships on Saturday, December 12th, in
Lexington, Ky.
About 40 clubs from around the country are expected to compete.
The meet will be held at Masterson Station Park in Lexington. The
women will run 6 kilometers beginning at 12:45 p.m. The men will run
10 kilometers starting at 1:30.
Running for JTCRunning are Kim Scurti (captain), Lindsay
Sundell, Angie Tecco, Jo Shott, Jennifer "J.C." Pinto, Britta Fortson
and Courtney Phillips in the women's race; Paul McRae (captain), Owen
Shott, Tripp Southerland, Nate Holden, Todd Neville and Josh Myers in
the men's race.
A high temperature of 40 degrees is forecast for Lexington on Saturday.
