Sulzbacher Evening a 'Success'

August 14, 2009;  "Everyone agreed the event was a success" says JTCRunning Board Member Margaret Barton, referring to the club's night to help prepare and serve dinner for the residents and drop-ins at downtown Jacksonville's homeless shelter.  Twenty four persons volunteered, but there was only space for 18 in the kitchen/serving area.  The other half-dozen individuals offered to participate next time instead.  Margaret added "Everyone who participated agreed they would like to do it again. The Sulzbacher Center relies on the support of local community groups, and this is a meaningful way for JTCRunning to contribute."  This could be the start of a JTCRunning recurring event.
